Bolt VPN is a privacy app built by Bolt VPN to keep your online activity secure. This service is free to download, with premium features available through a subscription. We’re committed to protecting your privacy, and this policy explains how we handle your data.

Data Collection

Bolt Privacy Hub operates with a strict zero-log policy, meaning we don’t gather, store, or track any personally identifiable information about your identity or behavior.

Third-Party SDKs

To maintain and improve the performance of the app, we collect limited, fully anonymous data related to app stability and usage via third-party SDKs. This includes:
Anonymous Crash Reports – To detect crashes and improve app performance.
Anonymous Usage Data – To understand how the app is used (e.g., screen views, feature engagement) and improve the app experience.
This data is fully anonymized, not linked to user identity, and never used for advertising or tracking. We do not and cannot associate this information with individual users.

Personalized Ads

To support our app and keep it free, we display ads through third-party advertising networks. Some of these ads may be personalized based on limited information collected from your device, such as your advertising identifier (IDFA) or app usage behavior.

We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name or email. All advertising data is anonymized and processed in full compliance with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) policies.

You will be asked to provide consent via Apple’s ATT prompt before personalized advertising is used. If you decline, only non-personalized ads will be shown.

You may change your consent at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy > Tracking.

Third-Party APIs

The app uses third-party APIs for the second phone number, temporary email, and Check IP features. These APIs do not collect any user data, and we’ve chosen providers that meet strict privacy standards.

Purchase Information

We process purchase information solely to verify subscriptions and unlock premium features within the app. This includes enabling access to features that are persistently assigned to a specific user, such as the second phone number. These features remain available to the user across app sessions. The data is used only for functionality and to ensure that purchased features are correctly activated, is fully anonymized, and is never linked to personally identifiable information.

Payments

All payments for the premium subscription are handled by the App Store. We don’t collect or process any payment information. You can review the subscription terms in the app’s paywall, and you can manage your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

Security

Since we don’t collect any data, there’s no risk of your information being compromised through the app.
